Supervise and coordinate rigging, lifting, and scaffolding activities for Gas Operations at the plant, ensuring safe, efficient execution in compliance with corporate and ISO:9001 standards.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and coordinate senior riggers in rigging, lifting, and scaffolding operations.

• Liaise with HSE for approvals of heavy lifts and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

• Conduct Task Risk Assessments (TRA) for critical lifting jobs.

• Perform rigging calculations and develop lifting plans for onshore/offshore operations.

• Manage replacement, upgrading, and preventive maintenance of lifting equipment.

• Oversee use of bundle pullers for tube and shell heat exchanger repairs.

• Exercise financial authority within management limits.

• Report incidents, accidents, or near misses.

• Train and monitor assigned Qatari developees.

• Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• HND or 2-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Certification in scaffolding, rigging, and rigging supervision.

• Certified in LEENA for lifting equipment, tools, and loose gear.

• Fire and Safety/First Aid training for hazardous areas preferred.

• Minimum 7 years rigging experience in Oil & Gas, with at least 3 years supervisory experience.

Skills and Competencies
