Supervises installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of rotating and stationary mechanical equipment at the plant, ensuring operational reliability, efficiency, and QHSE compliance.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, allocate, and supervise daily maintenance.

• Repair work for rotating machines (compressors, pumps, turbines, engines) and static equipment (boilers, heaters, heat exchangers, valves).

• Guide and support workshop technicians; interpret technical drawings and provide instructions.

• Monitor work progress, inspect completed jobs, and update SAP/CMMS records.

• Manage stock, tool store operations, and spare parts availability.

• Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with work methods and QHSE standards.

• Lead HSE initiatives, audits, risk assessments, and emergency drills.

• Train and mentor assigned personnel; monitor performance and development.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Secondary education (11–12 years) plus two-year diploma in Mechanical trade.

Skills and Competencies

• Minimum 10 years in mechanical maintenance

• 3+ years in a supervisory role in oil & gas or petrochemical plants.
