Responsible for cutting, shaping, and applying cladding and insulation materials to equipment and structures, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality, and QHSE standards.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret drawings, P&IDs, piping isometrics, and specifications.

• Measure, cut, and shape insulation materials (sheet, tubular, roll) to cover flat or round surfaces.

• Select appropriate materials based on thermal properties (e.g., ceramic fiber, cork, mineral wool).

• Fit, wrap, and attach insulation to equipment, exchangers, and piping per blueprint specifications.

• Assist other field workers and work in outdoor and indoor environments as required.

• Comply with company QHSE rules and safety procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary education (12 years).

• Two years technical training or apprenticeship with recognized diploma in insulation/fabrication.

• Eight (8) years in refinery, gas plant, or petrochemical industry as a fabricator/insulator.

Skills and Competencies

• Skilled in insulation methods, fabrication, and installation.

• Effective communication in English.
