Oversees all civil works for onshore plant facilities, including excavation, concrete, structural, grouting, refractory, and general civil maintenance, ensuring safe, timely, and compliant execution.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate daily civil construction and maintenance activities.

• Supervise contractors and monitor progress, resources, materials, and schedules.

• Review Method Statements, Work Instructions, and risk assessments; support TRA and documentation.

• Ensure quality of work, attend RFIs, and report deviations, delays, and issues.

• Participate in site progress meetings and ensure compliance with scope, budget, and specifications.

• Identify and resolve constructability and technical issues with contractors and line management.

• Coordinate shutdown-related civil works and ensure ITP compliance with QA/QC.

• Manage logistics and expedite material requirements.

• Support pre-commissioning, punch listing, and NCA issuance.

• Oversee excavation, shoring, backfilling, concrete repair, grouting, refractory, and insulation tasks.

• Enforce strict compliance with QHSE requirements and coordinate SIMOPS.

• Report incidents and adhere to all QHSE procedures.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Diploma (3 years) in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Skills and Competencies

• Minimum 6 years’ Oil & Gas/Petrochemical civil construction experience (onshore/offshore).

• Minimum 2 years as Construction Foreman/Supervisor in brownfield and greenfield projects.
