Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and engineering drawings.
Assemble and fit mechanical components using measuring tools and hand/power tools.
Install and repair high/low-pressure piping, valves, and related fixtures for water, gas, drainage, and oil systems.
Lay out, drill, tap, align, and secure parts for assembly.
Test assemblies and valves using test benches; verify alignment, tolerances, and performance.
Repair and lap valves; operate lapping machines and related equipment.
Follow inspection, testing, calibration, and QHSE procedures.
Secondary education.
Two years of technical training or apprenticeship with a recognized mechanical diploma.
Eight (8) years of experience in refinery or petrochemical mechanical maintenance.
Fluent in English.
Mechanical assembly and fitting expertise.
Skilled in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Strong knowledge of valves, piping systems, alignment, and tolerances.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools.
Familiar with inspection, testing, and calibration requirements.
