Responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical components and high/low-pressure piping systems in accordance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and engineering drawings.

• Assemble and fit mechanical components using measuring tools and hand/power tools.

• Install and repair high/low-pressure piping, valves, and related fixtures for water, gas, drainage, and oil systems.

• Lay out, drill, tap, align, and secure parts for assembly.

• Test assemblies and valves using test benches; verify alignment, tolerances, and performance.

• Repair and lap valves; operate lapping machines and related equipment.

• Follow inspection, testing, calibration, and QHSE procedures.

Qualifications:

• Secondary education.

• Two years of technical training or apprenticeship with a recognized mechanical diploma.

• Eight (8) years of experience in refinery or petrochemical mechanical maintenance.

• Fluent in English.

Skills and Competencies

• Mechanical assembly and fitting expertise.

• Skilled in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.

• Strong knowledge of valves, piping systems, alignment, and tolerances.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use precision measuring tools.

• Familiar with inspection, testing, and calibration requirements.
