Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and overhauling motor vehicles, trucks, and diesel engines while ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with standards.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Review work orders, prepare required tools and materials, and execute assigned tasks.

• Diagnose engine and system faults, identify root causes, and determine needed parts.

• Service and repair gearboxes, differentials, shafts, hubs, diesel pumps, engines, ABS, suspension, tyres, electrical systems, and vehicle A/C.

• Dismantle, repair, replace, and reassemble mechanical components.

• Align and adjust components per OEM specifications.

• Perform workshop or road tests to confirm proper operation.

• Follow all safety and QHSE requirements.

Qualifications:

• Secondary education.

• Technical training or apprenticeship with a recognized automotive mechanics diploma.

• Eight (8) years of auto mechanic experience in a gas plant, refinery, or petrochemical facility.

• Fluent in English.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills for automotive and diesel systems.

• Proficient with OEM manuals, tools, and testing procedures.

• Knowledge of industrial safety and QHSE practices.

• Ability to troubleshoot and perform high-quality repairs.
