Supervise and assure all electrical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities by the EPC contractor during offshore platform fabrication, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements for safe and timely handover.
Represent client for electrical pre-commissioning & commissioning; lead walkdowns and close punch items.
Review/approve EPC commissioning plans, procedures, RA/MS.
Ensure compliance with project specs, standards, PTW & HSE.
Witness FAT/SAT and commissioning of MV/LV systems, MCCs, transformers, UPS, lighting, protection & earthing.
Verify system readiness for energization and integrated testing (I&C, Telecom, Mechanical).
Endorse dossiers, test reports, punch lists, and maintain documentation/database updates.
Bachelor’s degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.
8+ years Electrical Commissioning experience (min. 3 years PMT/supervisory) in large Oil & Gas onshore/offshore projects.
Strong knowledge of MV/LV switchgear, MCC, UPS, transformers, protection & interlocks; offshore topsides experience preferred.
Skilled in commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and compliance with standards & HSE.
Able to review/approve commissioning plans and manage checklists.
Strong communication, decision-making, and ability to work under pressure.
Proficient in MS Office; experience with Hexagon/WinPCS preferred.
