Monitor and expedite all Contractor procurement activities for the NFPS Compression projects including the LLI. Works to assure a Procurement & Materials program that meets the needs of the project, is cost-effective, expedient, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure PMT alignment and compliance with procurement processes.
- Support Procurement Lead in developing procurement procedures, tools, and templates.
- Oversee Contractor purchasing plans and execution.
- Coordinate approvals for deviations to plans, policies, or procedures.
- Report procurement progress, issues, and mitigation actions.
- Support expediting to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with Spare Parts Coordinator to meet RSPL spares objectives.
- Assist in vendor evaluation and critical document reviews.
- Perform tasks assigned by the Procurement Lead.
- Manage interfaces with COMP teams (planning, cost, contracts, business).
Qualifications:
- Honors Bachelor’s in Supply Chain or related commercial/technical field.
- 8 years oil & gas operations experience.
- 5 years procurement specialist experience on major projects.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical, reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to monitor and track EPC Contractor purchasing activities.
- Self-starter, effective in lean organizations.
- Proficient in MS Office, business software, networking, and SAP.
