Job Description
Oversees all contractor procurement activities for the CO₂ Sequestration Project, ensuring a cost-effective, timely, and policy-compliant Procurement & Materials program. Ensures all project procurement requirements are met and that the contractor fully complies with EPC contract obligations related to procurement and materials.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Align with PMT on procurement objectives, scope, and execution plans.

  • Manage LLI procurement, including ITT preparation, tendering, and PO administration prior to EPC assignment.

  • Ensure compliance with project procurement procedures and oversee EPC Contractor’s processes.

  • Report procurement activities, progress, costs, and elevate issues as needed.

  • Oversee Contractor’s Purchasing Plan, including materials management, expediting, and logistics.

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and preservation procedures.

  • Review RSPL and ensure execution of the spares purchasing plan.

  • Ensure Contractor compliance with vendor qualification and maintain the Project Vendor List.

  • Oversee delivery of all procurement and vendor documents per quality requirements.

  • Support development and administration of the Contractor’s subcontracting plan.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Sciences, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • Minimum 8 years of business-related experience, including 4 years in Oil & Gas

  • At least 1 year in a supervisory or contractor oversight role.


Skills and Competencies
  • Experience with Oil & Gas companies, EPC contractors, and vendors.

  • Strong knowledge of project business functions and best practices.

  • SME-level competence in core discipline and related processes.

  • Skilled in risk-based decision-making.

  • Proficient in analytics tools and SAP.

  • Experience supporting large, integrated project or operations organizations.
