Plan, prepare, and execute all construction activities to meet or exceed project objectives, ensuring designs are constructible and installable using proven industry practices. Lead the construction phase through effective coordination with company and contractor teams, and manage fabrication of NFPS Compression Platforms through to sailaway, delivering safely within approved scope and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver NFPS Compression Project scope within approved schedule and budget in alignment with the PMT.
- Lead site safety, ensuring full compliance, strong safety leadership, and effective monitoring.
- Manage fabrication team performance against defined project targets.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, addressing contractor capability gaps.
- Control execution schedule and milestones, manage changes, mitigate delays, and report progress.
- Maintain effective interfaces with contractors, stakeholders, and customers.
- Implement MOC and capture, apply, and communicate lessons learned.
- Support audits and continuous improvement in contract administration.
- Ensure compliance with construction plans, specifications, and procedures.
- Monitor yard fabrication progress and implement timely mitigation actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
- 12 years’ experience in large-scale Oil & Gas construction projects, including fabrication, execution, and completion.
- 3 years’ management experience in construction, engineering, or project management with overall EPC execution responsibility.
Skills and Competencies
- Experience with Oil & Gas companies, contractors, service providers, or heavy construction firms.
- Strong knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria for major fabrication.
- Familiarity with offshore/onshore facilities and yard operations.
- Extensive understanding of execution methods and risks in sour gas and LNG facilities.
- Experience in large-scale operating organizations across Operations, Projects, or Subsurface.
- Proven track record in project delivery and managing EPC contractors and subcontractors.
- Excellent record in construction safety performance.
