Job Description
Responsible for managing Commissioning during preparation and execution stage of each wellhead platform to ensure objectives are safely met within the approved scope and schedule.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute electrical commissioning to meet schedule and safety targets, including SIMOPS.

  • Oversee electrical commissioning activities both onshore and offshore.

  • Lead site execution, ensuring alignment with project targets and maximizing onshore commissioning.

  • Supervise contractors to ensure compliance with approved commissioning methodology and system databases.

  • Ensure availability and readiness of commissioning spare parts and special tools.

  • Manage system completion, walkdowns, and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR) for electrical systems.

  • Support development of commissioning procedures, method statements, and check sheets.

  • Ensure strict compliance with safety and cybersecurity requirements (first energization, LOTO, PTW, JSA).

  • Capture and maintain lessons learned for offshore commissioning activities.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences.

  • 8+ years Oil & Gas project experience, including 1+ year in a supervisory role.

  • Strong knowledge of contracts, codes, standards, and technical specifications.

  • Experience in project execution, pre-commissioning, commissioning, systems completion, and operations.

  • Proficient in reading P&IDs, datasheets, GA drawings, and procedures.

  • Experience managing EPCs, subcontractors, and vendors, including LNG vendors.

  • Proven commissioning and OT experience for electrical systems (LV/HV, UPS, emergency/normal power, transformers, subsea cables).

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, protection relays, and control systems.

  • Familiar with LOTO, IEC/ATEX regulations, and electrical standards.

  • Start-up, handover to Operations, and offshore experience preferred.


Skills and Competencies
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong teamwork and PMT interaction.

  • High proficiency in written and spoken English.

  • Computer literate in professional office and relevant technical applications.

  • Effective communicator with contractors to obtain required information.

  • Experienced in interface coordination, support activities, and documentation.
