Responsible for implementing project HSES Management Plans and ensuring effective application of the Contractor’s HSES Management System during yard fabrication and offshore installation for the NFPS COMP4 project. Provides ongoing coordination and advice to the Head of HSE on fabrication yard HSES matters and contractor, subcontractor, and vendor HSES performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a proactive safety culture during fabrication and offshore activities.
- Support implementation of Project Safety Plan and Contractor HSE Management System.
- Oversee HSE audits, inspections, observations, and risk management.
- Manage HSE training, competency, and occupational health programs.
- Coordinate emergency response and project security measures.
- Lead incident and near-miss investigations for continual improvement.
- Participate in lessons learned and HSSE steering committees.
- Maintain interfaces with yard and project teams to resolve HSES issues.
- Perform other HSES tasks as directed by Head of HSE.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Safety, Health, Environment, Security, Engineering, or NEBOSH/NVQ Level 5/BSCL6 Diploma.
- 8+ years Oil & Gas SHES experience, including 1+ year supervisory/oversight role.
Skills and Competencies
- Experience with Oil & Gas companies, contractors, or service providers.
- Experience in large-scale operations, projects, or subsurface organizations.
- Knowledge of SHES management systems and programs.
