Leads Loss Prevention activities for the NFW Offplot project, ensuring compliance with Client requirements across storage and handling systems. Provides technical guidance to the EPC contractor, resolves safety issues, and drives development of the Design Safety Case and related risk assessments.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate strong SHES leadership through active field engagement.

• Ensure loss prevention activities meet regulatory, project, and industry requirements.

• Drive EPC contractor to complete required safety studies on schedule.

• Implement approved loss prevention recommendations in design and construction.

• Oversee contractor safety and risk activities, resources, and tools.

• Deliver loss prevention requirements on time across all project phases.

• Track lessons learned and monitor contractor progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering.

• 10+ years’ engineering experience (6+ years Oil & Gas, 2+ years supervisory/oversight roles).

• Strong experience with Client, EPCs, subcontractors, and vendors.

• Broad project execution exposure from design to startup/handovers.

• Solid risk assessment and decision-making background.

• Experience in large integrated project/operations environments.

• Skilled in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, SAFOP.

• Knowledge in firewater networks and passive/active fire protection.

Skills and Competencies

• Fluent in English (written/spoken).

• Strong analytical, organisational, and planning skills.

• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Skilled in mediation and problem-solving.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards.
