Job Description

Oversee operational deliverables for the assigned project from EPC through commissioning, start-up, and shift operations in the designated work area, ensuring safe, optimal production levels until handover to Asset Operations by supervising and coordinating with Asset Panel Officers, Operators, and field staff managing equipment and process flows.


 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement production procedures, reviewing continuously for improvements.

  • Supervise PTW issuance for Start-up/Brownfield work, ensuring safe execution.

  • Plan, allocate, and supervise staff activities, monitor progress, and adjust manpower deployment as needed.

  • Support offshore operational requirements and oversee handover to permanent assets.

  • Supervise pre-startup/shutdown tasks to ensure smooth commissioning-to-startup transition.

  • Assist in maintenance planning, execute start-up plans, and coordinate activities to minimize downtime.

  • Ensure procedural compliance, authorise work, monitor shift activities, and provide handovers.

  • Identify training needs, develop and implement programs for operators and nationals.

  • Act as Incident Controller during emergencies, managing first-line actions and reporting.

  • Participate in RBWS, Risk Screening, Re-HAZOP, and Safety Cases for risk management.

  • Prepare regular shift and ad hoc reports for management.

  • Conduct yard walkdowns, system checks, and raise punch items.

  • Collaborate with project and operations teams to ensure safe, seamless startup of new facilities.


Qualifications:
  • Secondary school education (12 years) with vocational training certificate.

  • 8 years of experience in the oil and gas sector.

  • Strong knowledge of operational aspects of production equipment and control systems.


Skills and Competencies
  • Effective written and spoken English communication.

  • Operational technical knowledge in the area of supervision.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Proficient in IT applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
