Provide frontline safety and technical leadership for compliant and efficient scaffolding execution. Support teams and contractors with technical guidance, resolve constraints through cross-team coordination, and promote a one-team approach to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrate visible safety leadership and care for people

Act as Company focal point for scaffolding, including approval of contractor submissions

Ensure compliance with Company, contractual, and regulatory requirements

Apply contractual awareness to protect Company interests on schedule, technical, and cost matters

Verify contractor competency systems comply with Company and Qatar regulations
-
Review and recommend improvements to procedures and ways of working
-
Participate in constructability and construction readiness reviews
-
Conduct daily site walk-throughs to verify safety compliance
-
Review, approve, and audit contractor scaffolding plans, methods, PTW, and risk assessments
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering
-
Recognized industry trade certifications (e.g., NVQ/City & Guilds, NACE, CITB/CISRS)
-
Minimum 8 years’ experience on large oil & gas construction projects
-
At least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role over contractors/vendors
Skills and Competencies

Knowledge of applicable design standards, codes, specifications, and safety criteria

Experience in fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up activities
-
Familiarity with onshore facilities and yard operations
-
Understanding of execution methods and risks in sour gas and LNG facilities
-
Experience within large-scale operating organizations (Operations, Projects, etc.)
-
Proven scaffolding experience in onshore greenfield environments
-
Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
