Job Description
Lead the contract subteam managing a multi-billion EPCC contract to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget project delivery, while collaborating with SUPPLY to establish a Major Projects Contract Center of Expertise by leveraging stakeholder insights, industry best practices, and strengthening Supply, Contract, and Procurement capabilities in support of the Major Projects vision and digital transformation.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead EPCC post-award contract management through close-out, ensuring value protection and effective change control.

  • Support SUPPLY on claims and disputes prevention and resolution in line with governance.

  • Partner with project, functional, legal, and risk teams to manage contract issues and mitigation actions.

  • Develop and implement post-award contract management strategies.

  • Coordinate contract evaluations, close-out activities, and aligned contractual responses to EPC contractors.

  • Support contracts and business leadership on claims management and actionable analysis for Major Projects.

  • Operate effectively in a high-pressure mega-project environment with strong accuracy, initiative, and multitasking skills.

  • Deliver short- and medium-term improvement initiatives supporting the Major Projects digital strategy.

  • Together with SUPPLY, attract, develop, and retain world-class professionals by recruiting top talent and advancing Qatari capabilities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or engineering.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience on multi-billion lump-sum major energy projects in a post-award role.

  • Experienced project, construction, or project controls managers are also encouraged to apply.


Skills and Competencies
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills

  • Sound business judgment with strong risk awareness

  • Experience in legal matters, claims, and dispute resolution (advantage)

  • Ability to produce clear, well-documented commercial correspondence

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven team leadership capability

  • Ability to drive continuous improvement, balancing quick wins with long-term strategy
