Job Description
Manage the full lifecycle of EPCI, FEED, and Long Lead Item (LLI) contracts for the NFXP Offshore project, from strategy development, tendering, and contract award through to completion. This includes post-award administration covering correspondence, variations, claims, insurance, guarantees, and day-to-day contract management.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop contracting scenarios for effective Contract Strategy workshops.

  • Lead preparation of FEED, EPCI, and LLI contracts with Legal and Supply teams.

  • Advise on technical bid evaluation processes, plans, and models.

  • Coordinate with contractors to ensure full contract compliance.

  • Manage all post-award activities including correspondence, variations, claims, insurance, and guarantees.

  • Support the PMT on major change orders, claims, and negotiations with EPC and LLI suppliers.

  • Review and manage contractor claims and coordinate related legal matters.

  • Coordinate LLI contract transfer via novation or free issue to EPC contractors.

  • Advise on contract breaches in a timely manner.

  • Review contracts and recommend improvements for future projects.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business, engineering, or management discipline.

  • 8+ years EPC contract management experience

  • 4+ years in Oil & Gas and 1+ year in a supervisory role.

  • Strong experience in contract formulation, administration, and contractor management.

  • Solid knowledge of project controls, claims, risk, change, procurement, and post-award management.

  • Familiar with international standards, best practices, and business processes.

  • SME-level competence in discipline with strong risk-based decision making.

  • Advanced software, data analytics, and SAP proficiency.

  • Experience supporting large, integrated project and operations organizations.

Skills and Competencies
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English.

  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to resolve complaints and concerns.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Proficient in standard professional office software.
