Job Description
Organize and coordinate the development and implementation of robust inspection plans and activities, providing technical expertise in equipment integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project readiness, and safe and seamless start-up of Operations Expansion & Start Up (OES) projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize inspection plans, ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and asset integrity.

  • Lead RBI-based inspection activities and coordinate issue resolution for reliable project start-ups.

  • Conduct risk assessments with cross-functional teams to ensure safety and readiness.

  • Perform RCAs, oversee corrective/preventive actions, and support complex integrity investigations.

  • Provide equipment integrity expertise and ensure vendor/material quality compliance.

  • Prepare inspection/NDT contract specifications and support tender evaluations, budgeting, and audits.

  • Liaise with regulators, certification bodies, and contractors to maintain compliance and adopt advanced inspection technologies.

  • Contribute to HAZOPs and technical reviews (RCFA, MOC, ALT) with inspection-focused input.

  • Recommend and implement innovative inspection technologies and best practices for improved efficiency and safe start-ups.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Materials Engineering.

  • 6+ years’ experience in equipment inspection within oil & gas facilities.

  • Competent in RBI, corrosion, and damage mechanisms.

  • Awareness of plant processes and materials.

  • Basic knowledge of UT, MT, PT, RT and familiarity with advanced NDT; basic welding knowledge.

  • Conversant with relevant international codes and standards.

  • Basic hands-on experience in fitness-for-service and remaining life assessments.

  • Basic knowledge of incident and root cause failure investigations.

  • API 510/570/653 certification (as applicable).


Skills and Competencies
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and relevant engineering software tools.

  • Experienced in Meridium or similar asset/data management systems.
