Provides welding engineering support for the NFXP Offshore Project, ensuring all technical requirements comply with project specifications and standardized processes, and also supports the pipeline engineering manager with Functional Safety design to maintain the highest delivery standards.
Ensures contractor compliance with welding integrity requirements across onshore, offshore, pipeline and subsea scopes.
Plans and schedules materials, welding and package engineering deliverables in line with company policies.
Supervises functional safety and pipeline materials/welding compliance with contract requirements and standards.
Participates in design workshops and ensures functional safety actions for pipeline materials and welding are implemented and closed.
Manages interfaces between pipeline engineering, onshore facilities (offshore scope) and key project teams.
Supports materials and pipeline purchase orders to ensure safe, seamless system integration.
Tracks contractor progress on piping and pipeline engineering deliverables.
Coordinates with SMEs and secures technical deviation endorsements when needed.
Ensures adherence to management of change procedures for design changes and deviations.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
8 years of relevant engineering experience, including 4 in Oil & Gas
Greenfield engineering and execution experience required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Excellent English proficiency
Proficient in office and technical applications
Solid knowledge of subsea and pipeline materials and welding engineering
