The role oversees all EPC-4 construction activities at the RLIC site through handover to commissioning, working daily with the EPC-4 contractor’s counterpart team. It is responsible for reviewing, commenting on, and approving all construction-related contractor deliverables.
Review, comment on, and approve EPC-4 construction procedures and deliverables.
Foster effective teamwork with the EPC-4 contractor and subcontractors.
Influence design-phase decisions to ensure smooth construction and commissioning.
Support a multicultural workforce in meeting project goals.
Lead meetings to drive improvements and productivity.
Influence stakeholders constructively without micromanagement.
Recommend safe, practical technical and execution solutions.
Coordinate periodic meetings with PMT and contractors.
Perform duties assigned by the Construction leadership.
Support ad-hoc operational and logistics needs.
Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
Eight years’ experience on large Oil & Gas construction projects, including one year in a supervisory role.
Strong background in execution, fabrication, construction, and greenfield projects.
Experience with Oil & Gas operators, contractors, or heavy construction firms.
Knowledge of key design standards, codes, and safety requirements.
Familiarity with sour gas and LNG facility execution risks.
Experience in large operating organizations.
Involvement in major projects with CAPEX > USD 1B.
Experience in Ras Laffan and local permitting is an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong ability to review and comment on technical documents.
Effective interpersonal skills across multiple organizational levels.
Strong organizational, planning, and execution abilities.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Solid coordination and planning skills.
