Responsible for leading data migration, modeling, and governance for Finastra Essence, ensuring regulatory compliance and enabling analytics to support business insights and decision-making.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead ETL processes and oversee migration from legacy systems to Finastra Essence.
• Define target data models, ensuring alignment with the enterprise model and a “single source of truth” for key entities.
• Implement data governance frameworks and ensure regulatory (e.g., QCB) and MIS reporting compliance.
• Design reporting and analytics frameworks to support business insights and decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Architect, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
• Hands-on experience with core banking systems, especially Finastra Essence, and legacy-to-modern system migrations.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data models, ETL processes, and data integration best practices.
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting standards.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of data governance, master data management, and quality assurance processes.
• Experience in designing analytics and reporting frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with IT, business, and compliance teams.
