Oversees the Civil/Structural engineering discipline and the FEED/EPC contractor to ensure all civil and structural design deliverables meet technical objectives within the approved scope, budget, and schedule, while ensuring that specifications, data sheets, and procedures developed during EPC fully comply with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrates strong SHES leadership and consistently models highest safety standards.

Ensures civil/structural engineering and contractor deliverables comply with regulations, codes, project specifications, and safe practices.

Resolves discipline issues promptly to meet project objectives.

Applies approved design recommendations to improve integrity, efficiency, safety, and risk performance.

Oversees contractor design activities, confirming adequate resources, competencies, and proper technical tools.

Provides civil/structural input across disciplines and supports FEED, commissioning, and system completion.

Performs technical and risk-based evaluations to resolve complex engineering issues.
-
Leads civil/structural interface coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
-
Maintains complete design revision history for contract administration.

Monitors schedule and progress while ensuring design integrity through effective change management.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
-
8 years’ engineering experience, including 4 in oil & gas and 1 in supervisory or contractor oversight roles.
-
Background with oil & gas operators, EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, or service companies.
-
Experience with sour gas, LNG facilities, and large offshore platforms/pipelines.
-
Advantage: berth design and seabed dredging.
-
Brownfield engineering and execution experience.
-
Experience in large tank foundation design.
-
Knowledge of geotechnical, foundation, drainage, precast concrete, steel structures, building design, and dynamic equipment foundations.

Advantage: blast design.
