Job Description
Responsible for mechanical equipment (Primary Specialization in Equipment Package) engineering activities for NFPS Compression project. Ensure mechanical equipment engineering activities comply with project requirements and specification.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure complete mechanical equipment engineering deliverables from Contractor during EPC execution.

  • Engage technically with Contractor and Vendors during bid clarifications and evaluations.

  • Achieve assigned goals, meet project quality requirements, and fulfill contractual obligations.

  • Review and verify all mechanical equipment technical documents for compliance and risk identification.

  • Manage Contractor’s mechanical equipment resources to ensure timely completion.

  • Monitor and report progress, ensuring alignment with procurement plans and ROS requirements.

  • Participate in project workshops (Equipment Criticality, HAZOP/HAZID, 3D model reviews).

  • Support PMS requirements, including Risk Assessment, Facility Design, and Change Management.

  • Operate in high-visibility projects with large budgets and tight schedules, demonstrating accuracy and multitasking.

  • Develop, review, and update mechanical engineering policies and procedures.


Qualifications:
  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 8 years in mechanical engineering (4 yrs Oil & Gas, 3 yrs offshore, 1 yr supervisory).

  • Expertise in Equipment Package design (static & rotating equipment) and FAT requirements.

  • Knowledge of international codes and standards.

  • Experienced with EPC contractors, vendors, and multicultural teams.


Skills and Competencies
  • Guides on complex tasks, specification deviations, and technical issues.

  • Experienced in large-scale project design, execution, and offshore gas facilities.

  • Knowledgeable in project planning, risk/change management, commissioning, and handover.

  • Familiar with international engineering standards.

  • Skilled in technical bids and tendering for major projects.
