Oversee the planning, preparation, and execution of all Hookup and Brownfield fabrication activities, ensuring all objectives are met. Ensure design constructability aligns with project drawings, standards, and industry practices, and manage issue resolution through effective coordination between company and contractor teams for full execution alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication.
- Lead Hookup and Brownfield execution to minimize operational impact and meet stakeholder expectations.
- Supervise Contractor/Subcontractor activities for compliance with contracts, project specs, and international standards.
- Verify constructability and technical compliance of Engineering deliverables.
- Review and comment on deviations from construction standards.
- Identify and address progress or quality issues with corrective actions.
- Review Contractor progress reports, highlighting critical issues or delays.
- Coordinate with Contractors/Subcontractors on structural, MC, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Lead and participate in Risk Assessments, Pre-Job, and technical meetings per company standards.
- Capture, apply, and share lessons learned from current and past projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in large Oil & Gas construction projects.
- 2 years in a supervisory or oversight role.
- Strong knowledge of project execution, fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing, and completions.
- Experience with Oil & Gas operators, contractors, service providers, or heavy construction companies.
Skills and Competencies
- Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria for fabrication, installation, brownfield, and hookup activities.
- Familiar with offshore structures, onshore facilities, and yard operations.
- Understanding of execution methods and risks in sour gas and LNG projects.
- Experience in large-scale operating organizations across Operations, Projects, and Subsurface.
