Job Description
Lead the contract subteam for a multi-billion EPCC contract, ensuring safe, on-time, on-budget delivery while building a Contract Center of Expertise with SUPPLY to enhance capabilities and support Major Projects’ vision and digital transformation.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide commercial and contracting direction post-award to closeout, delivering value protection and managing change orders.
  • Partner with SUPPLY on claims and disputes prevention and resolution per company governance.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with Legal, Risk, and Functional Managers to address contract issues and mitigation.
  • Develop and implement post-award contract management strategies for NFS Onshore.
  • Oversee contract evaluations and closeouts per company\\\\\\\'s procedures.
  • Operate effectively in a high-visibility, fast-paced project environment ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule performance.
  • Coordinate and align contractual responses across the project.
  • Support the Contracts and Business Managers on claims management, evaluations, and reporting.
  • Drive digital transformation through quick-win and mid-term improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with SUPPLY to recruit, develop, and retain world-class and Qatari talent.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in multi-billion lump-sum major energy projects (post-award)
  • Open to experienced Project, Construction, or Project Control Managers

Skills and Competencies
  • Strong influencing and leadership skills
  • Solid business and risk management acumen
  • Legal knowledge and experience in dispute/claims resolution (preferred)
  • Ability to prepare well-documented commercial correspondence
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with team leadership qualities
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement while balancing quick wins with strategic objectives
