Lead and manage the Compression EPC Contractor to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient execution of CP Topsides piping fabrication in alignment with NFPS Compression Project objectives. Ensure design constructability complies with project engineering drawings and industry standards, resolving issues through strong coordination between company and contractor teams for seamless fabrication execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with safety standards during fabrication.
- Oversee CP Topsides piping fabrication to meet safety, quality, and schedule targets.
- Supervise Contractor/Subcontractor activities for fabrication and commissioning per standards.
- Verify constructability and technical compliance of engineering deliverables.
- Review and manage deviations.
- Monitor progress and quality, recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Review and report Contractor performance and issues.
- Coordinate with Contractors/Subcontractors on MC and commissioning progress.
- Participate in risk assessments and key project meetings.
- Support REX and Lessons Learned initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in large Oil & Gas construction projects (fabrication, installation, execution, completion, etc.).
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role.
- Equivalent relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of project execution, fabrication, and field management.
- Experience with Oil & Gas or heavy construction companies.
- Familiar with design standards, codes, and safety for fabrication and installation.
- Knowledge of offshore/onshore facilities and yard operations.
- Understanding of sour gas and LNG facility execution and risks.
- Experience in large-scale operations or project environments.
