Lead static equipment engineering for North Field Expansion Offshore Project, ensuring design and compliance with project specifications and international standards, providing technical guidance to enhance asset reliability and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure contractor mechanical designs meet contract requirements and standards.
- Review and approve mechanical deliverables; provide input on other disciplines.
- Schedule engineering deliverables for efficient, compliant execution.
- Participate in design workshops and ensure actions are closed.
- Support Offshore Engineering Manager in monitoring contractor progress.
- Coordinate with SMEs and endorse technical deviations as needed.
- Manage engineering interfaces with Operations, pipelines, and Onshore Project Team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or Engineering.
- 8+ years’ experience as Mechanical Engineer in major oil & gas projects.
- Broad knowledge of engineering execution, design standards, codes, safety, offshore design, construction, and operations.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, report writing, and presentation abilities.
- Experienced in multi-disciplinary, multicultural offshore teams.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Proficient in office and technical applications.
- Knowledgeable in mechanical equipment, piping, pipelines, structural, instrument, telecom, and electrical systems.
