Responsible for managing Commissioning during preparation and execution stage of each wellhead platform to ensure objectives are safely met within the approved scope and schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage execution of electrical commissioning to meet schedule and safety targets, including SIMOPS.
- Lead and oversee all electrical commissioning activities offshore and onshore.
- Supervise contractor performance, ensuring compliance with commissioning methodology and database use.
- Ensure readiness of commissioning spare parts and special tools for electrical systems.
- Manage system completion, walkdowns, and PSSR for electrical scope.
- Develop and review commissioning documents (procedures, method statements, check sheets).
- Enforce safety and cybersecurity practices during commissioning (energization, LOTO, PTW, JSA).
- Maintain and update lessons learned register for offshore electrical commissioning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Applied Sciences/Engineering.
- 8+ years in Oil & Gas projects; 1 year supervisory/vendor oversight.
- Skilled in commissioning, pre-commissioning, system completion, and start-up.
- Proficient with P&IDs, GA drawings, datasheets, and procedures.
- Experienced with LNG vendors, UPS, LV/HV systems, power distribution, transformers, and subsea cables.
- Knowledgeable in codes, standards, ATEX/IEC, LOTO, and contract compliance.
- Offshore experience; managed EPC contractors and vendors.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills within PMT.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Proficient in office and technical applications.
- Effective in coordinating with contractors and obtaining required information.
- Experienced in interface coordination, support activities, and documentation.
