Job Description
Lead the pre-award and post-award contracts, negotiation, and administration of contract to ensure delivery of activities in compliance with project requirements, company policies, and legal obligations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement contract strategies aligned with project objectives and best practices.
  • Lead contract negotiations to secure optimal commercial and risk positions.
  • Administer contracts, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of claims and variations.
  • Monitor and evaluate contractor performance to ensure accountability and improvement.
  • Prepare contractual correspondence, manage change orders/disputes, and validate invoices.
  • Advise project teams on contract interpretation and risk mitigation.
  • Draft and analyze contractual documents and change orders per requirements.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Finance on complex contractual and liability issues.
  • Maintain accurate contract records in compliance with procedures and audit standards.
  • Support development of contract management policies, templates, and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Law, Engineering, Sciences, or Supply Chain Management.
  • 8+ years’ experience in contracts management or related business functions.
  • Minimum 4 years in the oil & gas industry and 1 year in a supervisory or acting role.
  • Strong knowledge of project functions: planning, cost control, claims, change, and contract management.
  • Extensive experience with EPC contractors and subcontractors in major projects.
  • Proven expertise in contract administration, claims, services, and performance management.
  • Experienced in multi-disciplinary, complex, high-value project environments.

Skills and Competencies
  • In-depth knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and dispute resolution.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Ability to interpret engineering and technical documents.
