Job Description
Advise and support machinery control systems implementation during EPC and Startup phase until handover to permanent Asset whilst ensuring project deliverables meet Operations expectations in term of Safety, Operability, Reliability and Maintainability over the facility design life cycle.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support in GE, CCC, DCS, and DLN tuning, including commissioning, troubleshooting, and warranty resolution.

  • Review and develop machinery control schemes to ensure reliability, availability, and cybersecurity.

  • Prepare and validate testing and performance procedures such as surge tests, DLN tuning, FAT, and performance tests.

  • Plan and execute tasks to achieve section and division KPIs.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to other disciplines and project teams.

  • Supervise contractors, consultants, and service providers to ensure quality and compliance.

  • Mentor junior engineers in integrity and reliability systems.

  • Manage issue and risk registers, and prepare handover documentation after start-up.

  • Support complex commissioning activities through system surveillance, control tuning, and O&M advisory.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

  • 8+ years’ experience in machinery control within Oil & Gas.

  • Expert in machinery control systems, including GE, CCC, DCS, and DLN tuning.


Skills and Competencies
  • Able to work and make decisions under high-pressure conditions.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in office and technical software applications.
