Job Description
Provide front line safety and technical leadership. Ensuring safe effective and efficient execution of Mechanical Package installation activities in accordance with the project schedule and compliance to safety, quality and technical policies procedures and standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide visible safety leadership promoting a safety-first culture.
  • Review and comment on contractor mechanical and project documents.
  • Ensure compliance with company and contractual policies, regulations, and standards.
  • Engage contractors on schedule, technical, and cost issues.
  • Maintain effective communication with contractor and company teams.
  • Participate in planning and risk assessment meetings, supporting schedule improvements.
  • Ensure contractors follow safety processes through regular site walk-throughs.
  • Attend workface planning, safety meetings, and toolbox talks.
  • Support project schedule compliance by identifying constraints and mitigation actions.
  • Review contractor reports to monitor performance and progress.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s in Science or Engineering.
  • 8+ years in Oil & Gas construction projects, including 1 year supervisory/oversight.
  • Skilled in mechanical construction, installation, hook-up, and pre-commissioning, preferably LNG.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, industry processes, and codes.
  • Experience with Oil & Gas, contractors, or heavy construction companies.
  • Familiar with design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria for project execution.

Skills and Competencies
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PDF, and document control systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Skilled in reading construction drawings, 3D models, and Primavera schedules.
  • Able to prepare and verify piping fabrication plans.
  • Experienced with advanced work packing systems.
  • Knowledgeable in mechanical design standards, codes, and safety for onshore LNG facilities.
