The role is to lead and support welfare and safety communication programs across all Major and NFPS Projects, promoting a positive safety culture, managing risks, ensuring HSE compliance, and enhancing worker well-being and competency through effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain the Worker Welfare Management System across projects.
- Act as primary contact for welfare issues and escalate when needed.
- Lead welfare audits, site visits, and inspections.
- Monitor KPIs and report welfare performance.
- Support Welfare Committee meetings and documentation.
- Develop and share welfare communication materials.
- Coordinate welfare events and campaigns.
- Ensure camp standards for living, catering, and medical facilities.
- Gather workforce feedback on welfare conditions.
- Align contractor welfare practices with project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent SHES qualification (NEBOSH, NVQ 5, or BSC Level 6).
- 8+ years SHES (Worker Welfare) experience in Oil & Gas, including 1 year supervisory/oversight.
Skills and Competencies
- Experience with Oil & Gas companies, contractors, or service providers.
- Experience in large-scale organizations across Operations, Projects, or Subsurface.
- Knowledge of SHES (Worker Welfare) management systems and programs.
