Oversees safe and efficient Electrical and Control Systems pre-commissioning and commissioning, ensuring effective planning, testing, integration, and coordination with stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve project milestones.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead safe Electrical Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning per project scope and schedule.

• Drive EPC Contractor to meet milestones through effective planning and execution.

• Provide site leadership and resolve Electrical/Control System issues during testing.

• Review and supervise commissioning procedures, check sheets, and schedules.

• Coordinate with Operations and other disciplines to ensure smooth execution.

• Ensure EPC compliance with qualifications, tools, and specifications.

• Enforce SHES standards and participate in safety activities.

• Prepare reports and validate commissioning results.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or Applied Sciences.

• 8+ years’ Oil & Gas commissioning experience, including 1 year in supervision.

• Electrical Commissioning Engineer experience in LNG/Oil & Gas projects.

• Strong knowledge of System Completion, walkdowns, and PSSR.

• Skilled in systemization, check sheets, and commissioning procedures.

• Experienced with HV/LV systems, transformers, switchboards, UPS, and protection systems.

• Knowledge of compressors, control systems, and international electrical standards.

• Substation and brownfield/greenfield commissioning experience.

• Familiar with completions database software (e.g., WinPCS, ICAPS).
