Develop and implement logistics plans covering transport, customs, warehousing, and site delivery schedules.
Coordinate shipments with marine/freight forwarders, customs agents, and suppliers.
Manage customs clearance, import/export documentation, bond procedures, and regulatory compliance.
Support procurement and construction teams by tracking material delivery and resolving delays.
Ensure timely and effective implementation of project unloading, transportation, and logistics systems, monitoring contractor plans.
Oversee efficient clearance of shipping documentation for customs.
Liaise with Doha and RLC port authorities on regulations, schedules, and operational improvements.
Optimize warehousing, inventory, storage, and site lay-down areas.
Coordinate personnel logistics for mobilization and demobilization.
Monitor logistics KPIs, control costs, and prepare reports and forecasts.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.
8 years of relevant experience, including 4 years in the Oil & Gas industry.
Experience with Oil & Gas companies, EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, or service providers.
Knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, bonded storage, and Middle East procedures.
Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Able to work under pressure and communicate effectively with teams and vendors.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Strong leadership, integrity, and experience guiding contractor teams.
Excellent analytical, organizational, coordination, and planning skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
Skilled in mediation, conflict resolution, problem-solving, creative thinking, influencing, and empathy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.
