Provide technical and construction expertise for the CO₂ Sequestration Project. Liaise daily with the construction team and contractor counterparts. Supervise and monitor construction activities related to civil, structural, and architectural works, ensuring compliance with approved construction sequences, project requirements, safety, quality, schedule, cost, and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review construction sequences, work plans, and method statements for safety and feasibility.
- Represent client in monitoring and coordinating contractor and subcontractor site activities; report progress and issues.
- Support implementation of site-specific SHE programs; participate in safety drills and incident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with client standards, regulations, and PTW procedures; coordinate with Field Engineering and QA/QC.
- Attend completions meetings; support mechanical completion, punch list clearance, commissioning, and start-up.
- Oversee civil, earthworks, and structural activities aligned with completion priorities.
- Collaborate on construction and completion metrics tracking deliverables.
- Lead scopes involving civil, steel structures, and architectural works; resolve site issues promptly.
- Implement and document lessons learned; apply best practices for safe execution and transition to commissioning.
- Coordinate with client Operations for alignment on construction execution plans.
- Demonstrate expertise in construction safety practices, WMS, and PTW systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering
- 8 years’ experience with Large Projects in Construction-related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry
Skills and Competencies
- Experience with oil & gas operators, contractors, service providers, or heavy construction companies
- Familiar with design standards, codes, and safety criteria for fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield, and hook-up activities
- Knowledge of offshore/onshore facilities and yard operations relevant to project scope
- Understanding of execution risks and methods for sour gas and LNG projects
- Background in large-scale operating environments (e.g., Operations, Projects, Subsurface)
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Computer literate with regular use of office and technical applications
