The role oversees and expedites contractor procurement for NFPS Compression COMP3, including long-lead and novated items, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery while addressing delays and managing tight deadlines under pressure.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure PMT alignment on procurement needs and compliance with processes and procedures

• Support Procurement Lead in developing coordination procedures, tools, and templates (PSE, MSR, SSR, etc.)

• Oversee Contractor’s purchasing plans and coordinate with sourcing specialists

• Secure approvals for deviations in procurement plans, costs, change orders, and claims

• Report procurement progress, issues, and mitigation measures

• Implement expediting mechanisms and logistics to meet project schedule

• Coordinate with Spare Parts team to ensure timely delivery of project spares (RSPL objectives)

• Support vendor evaluation, document review, and expedite critical queries

• Perform additional tasks delegated by Procurement Lead

• Manage interfaces with COMP3 business teams (planning, cost control, contracts, business manager)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Law, Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

• 8 years oil & gas experience, including 5 years as procurement specialist on major projects

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Strong analytical, reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to monitor EPC Contractor purchasing activities and track key equipment/materials

• Self-starter, capable of working in a lean organization

• Proficient in MS Office, business software, networking, and SAP
