The Commissioning Lead (Telecom and Cybersecurity) oversees telecom and ICSS cybersecurity commissioning for the NFXP Offshore project, ensuring safety, compliance, and schedule adherence. Responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, supporting start-up and performance tests, enforcing cybersecurity standards, and mobilizing offshore as required.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Telecom and ICSS cybersecurity commissioning to meet schedule and safety requirements.

• Supervise vendor and contractor activities, including SAT, punch lists, and OTP.

• Ensure compliance with commissioning methodology, database use, and cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443).

• Monitor ICSS systems, network implementation, and troubleshooting.

• Oversee availability of spare parts and tools.

• Review and approve commissioning deliverables and contractor execution plans.

• Maintain lessons-learned register for telecom and cybersecurity.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.

• 8+ years’ experience with relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, IEC 62443), including 1 year in a supervisory role.

• Commissioning experience with Telecom equipment packages (RADIO, RACON, ACS, PAGA, LAN/WAN, Meteorological, CCTV, Telephone) onshore, offshore, and in fabrication yards.

• Skilled in FO cable testing (OTDR, power meter) and ICSS network and cybersecurity.

• Experience with network firewalls, L2/L3 implementation, troubleshooting, end-point security, and system backups.

• Interface management with multiple contractors, EPCs, sub-contractors, and vendors.

• Familiar with system completion databases and stakeholder specifications, international and industry standards.

• Knowledgeable in project execution, engineering, operations, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and system completion.

• Proficient in P&IDs, datasheets, GA drawings, and procedures.

• Experience in Oil & Gas and LNG operations, including compressors, power generation, and topside systems.

• Involved in start-up support to operations.

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills within a Project Management Team (PMT).

• High proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Effective in liaising with contractors to obtain required information.
