Leads telecoms engineering for NFPS projects, ensuring compliance, quality, and efficient execution. Manages contractor performance, coordinates brownfield tie-ins with OPCO, interfaces with other projects, and provides telecoms expertise across multidisciplinary tasks, including oversight of TIC scope.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure telecoms engineering complies with project specifications, safety standards, and execution plans.
• Lead execution and provide guidance to EPC contractor for timely, compliant design deliverables.
• Manage purchase orders with EPC contractor and vendors for safe, seamless system integration.
• Oversee contractor schedules, progress reporting, and recovery plans to address delays.
• Provide telecoms expertise for multi-discipline activities and recommend solutions to management.
• Coordinate with vendors and EPC contractors to meet quality and execution objectives.
• Support construction and commissioning to ensure site execution meets project plans.
• Capture and share telecoms engineering lessons learned from previous and current projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics, or Systems Engineering.
• 8+ years in telecoms, including 4 in Oil & Gas and 1 in supervisory/contractor oversight.
• Experience in Brownfield projects and multi-vendor EPC telecoms delivery.
• Proficient in global telecoms standards with deep specialty knowledge.
• Hands-on design experience: OTN, UHF/TETRA/VHF, IP networks, security systems, PAGA, WAN/LAN, industrial wireless, ship/shore, hazardous areas.
• Skilled in fibre/copper network design and transitioning designs to construction.
