Directed HSE and loss prevention for clients LOTS Project, ensuring compliance with standards, guiding contractors, resolving issues, and implementing the HSE management system. Coordinated stakeholders, delivered safety studies to support milestones, and ensured alignment with Technical Authority in a complex multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage HSE deliverables, studies, and PMS plans across project phases.
- Define ITT HSE requirements, evaluate contractors, review/approve HSE systems and plans.
- Provide HSE input through engineering, construction, commissioning, and integration reviews.
- Act as focal point between PMT, HSEQ, and SMEs, ensuring safety expectations and implementation.
- Oversee incident investigations, emergency preparedness, and corrective actions.
- Track KPIs, analyze trends, and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Ensure consistent HSE leadership, compliance with standards, and timely delivery of safety studies.
- Monitor contractor performance, risk assessments, and technical issue resolution.
- Share lessons learned, best practices, and ensure recommendations are implemented.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Science/Engineering/Safety; NEBOSH Diploma
- 8+ years HSEQ/loss prevention in Oil & Gas (brownfield & greenfield)
- Experienced in HSEQ systems, commissioning, start-up, and capability building
- Skilled in risk assessments, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, FERA/QRA, fire & explosion studies
- Proficient in engineering drawings and multidisciplinary coordination
- Strong background with contractors, vendors, and worker welfare programs
- Knowledge of H2S emergency response and risk registers
- Proven safety leadership, driving proactive culture and Safety KPIs
Skills and Competencies
- Strong organizational, communication, and supervisory skills; self-motivated and decisive
- Ability to network with Safety Teams and client Loss Prevention discipline
- Knowledge of PHAPro, PHAST, and Pipenet software
- Proficient in English for procedures and technical reports
- Skilled in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
