The ICSS Lead manages control and safety systems for the North Field Expansion Offshore Project, ensuring compliance with client and international standards. They provide technical guidance, translate company requirements to contractors, collaborate across disciplines, and monitor engineering deliverables to ensure project success.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Contractor’s ICSS engineering complies with contract requirements and standards.

• Review and approve ICSS engineering deliverables for Topsides and Offshore Onshore facilities.

• Plan and schedule ICSS deliverables aligning with QatarEnergy policies and project systems.

• Participate in design workshops and ensure recommendations and actions are implemented.

• Oversee integration of third-party packages into ICSS.

• Develop and review control/safety systems, shutdown hierarchies, and system narratives.

• Coordinate with SMEs and manage technical deviations approvals.

• Supervise engineering interfaces between Topsides, Offshore Onshore facilities, and project teams.

• Attend FATs/SATs and support commissioning and site queries.

• Coordinate procedures for smooth ICSS handover to operations.

Qualifications:

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills within PMT.

• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience working in multidisciplinary, multicultural offshore teams.

• Proficient in report writing and presentations.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Skilled in professional office and technical applications.

• Good knowledge of mechanical, piping, structural, instrument, telecom, and electrical systems.
