Provide input to edit Operations Group procedures, standing instructions and assessment packages for clarity, consistency of presentation and adherence to Company competency assurance standards.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare documentation per Client policies, industry standards, and ISO 9000/14000.
• Edit and proofread P&Ps for accuracy, clarity, and compliance.
• Ensure consistent language, style, and formatting.
• Improve content through revisions in wording and structure.
• Verify facts, sources, and layout of technical documents.
• Review procedures per Client competency standards.
• Identify and update documents for operational changes; support training.
• Standardize layouts with QGMS for intranet use.
• Mentor writers and develop writing guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English Literature, Journalism, or Science
• 6 years of diversified experience in writing/editing oil and gas operations procedures including 3 years of experience as a Technical Author
• Proactive self-starter with ability to anticipate and implement required changes

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent English communications skills, verbal and written. • Extensive knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS SharePoint. • Familiarity with electronic publishing, graphics, web design, and multimedia production. • Advanced organizational and planning skills
