Oversees Construction Surveillance and ensures effective implementation of the Contractor’s Quality System for offshore pipeline, subsea, platform, and cable installations. Supports the Head of Quality with performance insights, manages offshore sites, analyzes project data, and resolves complex issues using experience and precedent.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement offshore surveillance plans and approve ITPs and quality procedures
• Oversee welding quality, including procedures, qualifications, NDE, and KPIs
• Attend offshore meetings to monitor progress and resolve quality issues
• Allocate inspection resources via approved SIS agencies
• Conduct Flawless Quality training with contractors
• Lead site walk-throughs to address quality and safety concerns
• Ensure inspection records align with completions for smooth handover
• Manage and resolve deficiencies and non-conformances
• Support audits and apply lessons learned for continuous improvement
• Report quality performance, risks, and trends to management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering
• Additional qualifications in quality, welding, or NDE inspection
• 8 years’ quality experience in Oil & Gas, including 1 year in a supervisory role
• Experience with Operators, Contractors, or Service Companies
• Background in large-scale operations or projects
• Familiar with quality systems, specifications, and tools
• Knowledge of industry standards

• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence through presentation, negotiation, and facilitation
• Skilled in developing and implementing Quality Management Systems for Oil & Gas
• Confident interaction with senior leaders and stakeholders
